Who is Lulu?

Lulu was a real person: a woman whose given name meant illumination, and whose life was defined by warmth, joy, and generosity. She is the reason this shop exists and the reason it carries her name. Her spirit is woven into every conversation, every style, and every experience in the chair.

She's in the brand, too. The script in the logo is drawn from Lulu's own handwriting, and the purple and blue you see throughout the shop and this site were her favorite colors, so a little of her is in every corner of the place.

Hair has always been more than hair here. It's about how someone feels when they're truly seen. Every appointment is unrushed and built around listening, intention, and connection: no pressure, just skilled care and a commitment to leaving each client feeling confident, supported, and uplifted.

We believe in three things: light, creating space for joy, confidence, and self-expression; care, listening deeply and honoring the person in the chair; and connection, building trust, comfort, and real relationships. Because when you feel cared for, everything else follows.

This space exists to remind you of something simple: you are already wonderful.
