Privacy policy

This policy explains what Lulu's Barbershop & Salon ("Lulu's", "we") collects through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
Lulu's Barbershop & Salon, 440 3rd Ave, Watervliet, NY 12189. Phone (518) 833-5055, email nothinglessthanwonderful@gmail.com.
The comfort form
The comfort form for sensory-friendly appointments collects what you choose to type or tick: the client's name, preferred name, date of birth and age; the parent or guardian's name, phone and email; how the client communicates; haircut history; what's hard for them and what helps; any diagnosis or safety notes you decide to share; and your typed signature. Every field except the names, phone and the two acknowledgment boxes is optional.
The form is processed by Netlify, Inc., the company that hosts this website, using its Netlify Forms service. Netlify stores the submission and emails a copy to the shop. Along with your answers, the form sends where you arrived from: the page you landed on, the referring website, and any campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source or gclid). We use that only to understand which ads or posts bring people in.
We use the form only to prepare for the client's appointment. We keep it as a private client record so we don't have to ask again, and we never sell it or use it for marketing. To see, correct or delete it, call, text or email us and we'll take care of it.
Booking
Appointments are booked on Squire (getsquire.com), a separate service with its own privacy policy. We don't control what Squire collects.
Cookies and analytics
This site doesn't set tracking cookies unless you click Accept on the cookie banner. See the cookie policy for details. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a Reject.
Children
The comfort form is meant to be filled out by a parent, guardian or caregiver, or by an adult client about themselves. It isn't directed at children to fill out on their own.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
